THE POST-ACTS PERIOD IS NOW

We are now living in the secret post-Acts period of God’s plan. Eight books of the Bible were written during and about this post-Acts period. Understanding the present period of God’s plan is essential to understanding the Bible. This period was kept secret until it was revealed to the Apostle Paul after the end of The Acts. When we realize that God is dealing with different people in different ways at different times in the Bible, then we can begin to understand God’s overall plan and purpose for the ages and how we fit into that plan.

But God hath revealed them (the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him) unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. (1 Cor 2:9-10)

To understand the Bible more deeply, we must understand what happened at the end of The Acts. (The Bible does not directly tell us what happened. We must study to find it.)

For it is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour who desires all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (1 Tim 2:3-4)

To understand what changes happened at the end of The Acts, we must apply the principle of right division as suggested by Paul in his last Epistle, 2 Timothy (2:15).

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

To understand what changes happened at the end of The Acts and what is the present truth that pertains to us, we must know of and consider the following:

  • The present Lo-Ammi pronouncement of Israel as prophesied by Hosea

  • The seventy weeks of years for Israel as revealed to Daniel

  • What happened historically to Jerusalem and the Temple in A.D. 70

  • What did not happen historically: the return of Christ for Israel in A.D. 85

  • What books of the Bible were written after the end of The Acts

  • What was omitted in those books written after the end of The Acts

  • What was revealed in those books written after the end of The Acts

  • The post-Acts ministry of Paul to the saved about the secret revealed to him

(If we were taught these things as children, the Bible would be easier to understand)

Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth (John 16:13)
